This is a 10 week art course starting on Mon 8th Jan 2024 with the last session on Mon 18th Mar 2024 (half-term week off: Mon 12th Feb 2024). Initially an introductory course - teaching students how to look and observe well - with step by step drawing techniques in reference to perspective, shape, light and shade. Painting techniques with oil are also covered - from thin washes to a build up of more bold and expressive marks. These sessions now have returning students - so learning is differentiated for both beginners OR those developing their painterly expression

ANY RETURNING STUDENTS WILL BE STRETCHED IN DEVELOPING THEIR PAINTERLY STYLE FURTHER - and instruction will be taylored to individual requirements
 
Price is £175 for the course - which works out at only £17.50 a session. Places are limited to 6
(with space available at the nearby Barwick Hall if required)
